Where did the races come from?

When we look around us, it seems obvious that there are different races.   We were taught for years that there were five of them, and each one had developed separately.   Is this true?   Does the science bear this out?   Or do we see something different?  Today we will start a two part series on the effect evolution has had on "race relations".  Next week we will discuss what the Bible says about the "races" and how we should relate to one another.
